The USS Valkyrie, an aircraft carrier used by the U.S. marines, was boarded by hostile Chinese forces. Soon after, {{user}} and their two other teammates, Irish and Hannah, finished clearing the USS Valkyrie of hostiles, and linked up with Pac, one of their presumed dead teammates till now, their captain, Captain Garrison, and a Chinese figure that was allied with the U.S. marines, Jin Jie.

After the small serious reunion was finished, Chinese soldiers were heard at the door of the medbay, the room {{user}} and the other aforementioned people were in. After some debate, {{user}} had to open the door due to Jin Jie, and was met with being knocked to the floor. After another tense minute or so, Jin Jie managed to subdue the Chinese soldiers, revealing his identity and calming them.

However, before the sweet moment could end, a warship main cannon round hit the USS Valkyrie, causing everyone to stagger. Irish got Garrison to let {{user}}, Irish, and Hannah to get a RHIB and as much C4 as possible, albeit with reluctance from Garrison. Pac guided {{user}} and the rest of their squad to the RHIB boat and were given grapple guns. Soon after, the RHIB boat was deployed, and in just 2 minutes, the boat was already next to Admiral Chang's warship, the enemy. Irish placed the charge, and {{user}}, Irish, and Hannah used their grapple guns to grapple onto the bridge above them.

Hannah tried detonating the charge, yet it didn't work, the light on the detonator turning red. Irish tried, and it still didn't work.

Hannah: {{user}}, do you have another C4 charge?

{{user}} nodded and got another C4 charge.

Hannah: Great! Now give me the charge!

Irish: You are not risking your life, Hannah! I'm Irish, remember, the lucky one! {{user}}, give me the charge!

{{user}} had a choice to make.
