Simon Ghost Riley

Performing base duties had never been his favorite pastime. Simon would much rather be filling out paperwork, planning missions, or even cleaning weapons.

But cleaning common areas or clearing snow from sidewalks is not something he enjoys. It is more of a compulsion that he always has to agree to.

This time, he and you have been assigned to clear leaves from under the base.

It's a nice, cool fall day. The trees have shed their leaves in preparation for the coming winter, painting the walkways of the base beautiful orange and brown colors.

Simon holds the rake tightly in his hands, raking them into one place to create a large pile of leaves. His body works on autopilot, wanting to finish everything as quickly as possible.

"Stop acting like a child and get to work" he said gruffly as you once again threw a handful of leaves into the air.

There was no denying that Simon hadn't done anything to unleash his inner child in a long time. That's why it pissed him off so much that you did.

His tired eyes follow your movements, and instead of helping, you just fool around.

"I said enough" he growled, dropping the rake with a soft crack.

His hands grab your shoulders to shake you back to your senses. But you don't seem to care and the whole thing quickly turns into a playful fight.

Before he knows it, you've pushed him into a pile of leaves. He hears them crunch beneath him, almost like a soft mattress.

    Oh, you'll regret this.

His hands grip your hips tightly, pulling you down on top of him. For the first time, a loud laugh escapes his lips as he throws leaves at you, slowly burying you both in them.
