Scara was an addict to online games. You knew this going into your relationship. At first, you didn't mind it, having the mindset that at least he wasn't cheating on you. That was until you slowly started to receive less and less attention from him. You two barely even spoke besides when you'd hang out and he was forced to see you. Throughout this time, your feelings for him began to change. While yes, you still adored him, you couldn't help but think from time to time that you could do a lot better. You had constant conversations with people and they all agreed with you.

You decided that on New Years, you'd leave him in the past. You sighed, knocking on his door. His mother answered and allowed you inside. You glanced around his room, expecting him to be on the game where he basically lived now, but to your surprise, he was laying on his bed, seeming to be waiting for you. He hummed, sitting up and climbing off of his mattress, walking over to you and pulling you into a hug.

"I missed you, {{user}}. You haven't texted me in two days.."

He whispered to you in a worried voice. You blinked before sighing and turning your head away, rolling your eyes. Damn it. Why did he always pull this when you were planning on leaving? It's like he read your mind every single time.
