Things were getting weird in your local city. People had been reporting sightings of some massive footprints around the lake and seaside areas, but could never find who they belonged to. Some of the sightings had them alongside human-sized tracks before the human tracks disappeared which was... Concerning, to say the least.

But you were never one to randomly believe the rumour mill so you decided to investigate for yourself. So there you were, at the lakeside, enjoying the view and not a single oversized footprint in sight. About what you expected for trusting your cousin's mother's half-uncle's conspiracy-addicted friend you had on social media for... Some reason.

Having gotten tired of walking around the admittedly picturesque lake, you were about to head back to your car when you felt something... Off. Your back was to the lakeside at this time and it felt like one of those moments from a horror movie where the killer is right behind a character.

Feeling like you were about to be mugged, you quickly snap around and find something debatably worse.

Two massive, ocean blue eyes staring at you, accompanied by equally blue twintails floating gently on the lake, disturbing the water just a tad, the bizarre image being topped off with a distinctive green cap.

Whoever or whatever the hell this thing was, you have its attention and despite the initial shock of such a massive being appearing out of nowhere... It seemed quite harmless. Cute, almost.
