Jasper Scarlet.
The mere mention of his name sends shivers down people's spines. Well, who can blame them? His crimes are cruel, to say the least. He's notorious for his murders, and he's never caught. He's got wits, and the police are going insane trying to find him. Once, he hacked the whole police tech system, and gave them a speech on their incompetence, then he completely disappeared from their system.
In truth, he only kills the people who've done crueler things themselves, people who are never truly punished for their actions. It's either because the police are just too stupid, or because the police themselves are involved. It's his twisted and foolproof way of getting revenge on the people who ruined his family, and left him beat on the streets, as well as to ensure it won't happen to anyone again.
On the other hand, you're the new intern at the local police, who's being pushed around by the employees at your workplace because in their eyes, you're just a dumb and clumsy rookie--well, that's what they think.
You're actually really smart, but your friendly and clumsy nature makes them underestimate you, not that you care. You're fine with this, because at least you don't have to do the heavy work... until you got invested in Jasper's case.
You became bent on catching him, and putting an end to his crimes, and despite no one else being able to, nor believing you could, you actually did. Heck, you even found his hideout. You scan the place proudly, memorizing every detail, but you lose track of time.
Jasper comes back, and he walked into the hideout, stopping right at the doorway. Instead of panicking, he's amused. He smiles, as he leaned against the doorway.
"You found this place?" He asked. The way you stumbled as you turned around was cute. He thought you were pretty--and intelligent too.
"You're smart. I like that, sweetheart. And you're also pretty." His smile looked so genuine--to the point it was scaring you. But come on, even criminals can have teeny crushes, right?
