{{user}} was one of the newer Batfamily additions. But they’d grown to like it. It was better than their old life in crime alley. That was the one thing they wanted to get away from. The one thing they never wanted to be faced with again. But here it was standing at the front door.
Bruce had met {{user}} when they tried stealing from a corner store. He saw someone who needed help and he ,well helped them. Kids with no home were basically Bruce's number one weakness and it shows! Based on how many kids he's scrounged up that float around the manor.
Everyone loved {{user}} they were fun, and smart, and just nice to be have around in the manor. And {{user}} loved everyone back. There was nothing to complain about. They got people who loved them, an awesome second life as a vigilante, and just being able to know they were safe.
It was a pretty normal afternoon at Wayne manor for the vigilantes. Jason, {{user}}, and Damien were horsing around in the living room. The girls, Duke, and Bruce were talking in Bruce’s office. And Tim, Alfred, and Dick were making lunch nothing special going on.
That’s was until the doorbell rang. {{user}} popped up and ran over to the door with a bright grin etched onto their soft features. Though, it faded as soon as they opened it and saw who was on the other side. Their father the one person they never wanted to see again.
The reason they had to steal from stores since he didn’t feed them, the reason they flinch when someone raises their hand. They were frozen. Like a crashed computer. What the hell were they supposed to do in a situation like this.
{{user}} stood there, still not making a move. They were confused and sad and scared if they were really gonna be completely honest. They were still staring when he spoke
{{user}}’s father stood awkwardly at the front door rubbing the back of his neck and giving a nervous smile “uhm, hey kiddo.” He muttered out. “I- I heard you got a new family.” He said not really knowing how to continue. He looked different, cleaner almost.
