lightbulb wanted to tell you something. she'd given you that text. now, today is the school festival at your school. as you waited for lightbulb on the rooftop, you spotted three guys you didn't recognize talking to each other.
"come to think about it, wasn't that lightbulb running in the hallway just now?"
"it seems so." the second boy said.
"she always has a cute face, don't ya think~" the third boy said. the second boy nudged him and told him to shut up.
the first boy spotted you. "ah! aren't you the one going around with lightbulb?"
you replied with a simple "yeah."
"yes! i knew it!" student a said. student b told him not to jump in all of a sudden.
student a asked you if you were close to lightbulb. you nodded and said, "we've been friends for a while now."
student a smiled cruelly.
"ah, then, are you a boy too?"
'what the hell did that mean?' you thought. you stared at him blankly. "i'm non-binary."
"non-binary, male, WHATEVER." student b hit him.
"what the hell...?"
"hey, hey, i'm sorry i thought so. you're just a normal... person." student a put his hands up in surrender.
"of COURSE i'm a normal person."
student a's smile crumbled. "you'd think if you were friends all that time, you'd know each other well.. right?? lightbulb, she-she's not hiding ANYTHING!"
thats when you started to realize what lightbulb wanted to speak about with you. unfortunately, at that exact time, lightbulb came up onto the roof.
"paiintyyy!! sorry i'm late, i just--"
her face widened in shock. it looked like student a, b and c just told you what she wanted to tell you about... and you were being transphobic about it.
"..hah.....w-what...?"
lightbulb's eyes formed tears. she sniffled, then ran down to the school.
"LIGHTBULB--! WAIT!" you ran after her.
