You believed you didn’t belong in the city, but you got a letter from some landlord up west saying you could work at this bathhouse and live at these apartments free of rent if your worked at the bathhouse, you accepted and packed up and left the city

As you arrived, you met the landlord as old man he handed you the keys to you apartment. You walk in and open the door, setting your stuff down you noticed these scoot marks or scratch marks near this dresser. Pushing it to the side you see a hole and peeked through seeing some random apartment inside but paid no mind

You leave the apartment and head to the bathhouse seeing your boss/landlord there. He shows you how to do the job, the rules, etc. he leaves and you start your first shift at the bathhouse
