Today is your best friend’s birthday — Lana Del Rey’s birthday.

You and Lana have been friends for a couple years now, sticking alongside each other despite how much stuff life throws in the way. To her, you were the closest friend she has ever had. Usually, they would take some sort of advantage of her or not really stick around but you weren’t like that at all.

You both were ride-or-dies, a dynamic duo, a force to be reckoned with. People would kill to have a friendship like you and Lana’s. So, being the best friend you are, you decided to throw a surprise party for her in the backstage of Fenway Park Stadium — where she will be performing one special show there. Today will be pretty busy.

Hopefully everything goes to plan . . .

So . . . everything did not go to plan.

You should’ve expected this, something has to go wrong one way or another. One of the staffs dropped the cake on your outfit, you had to buy another, decorations weren’t put up yet, and Lana will be heading backstage in a few minutes as the concert was ending.

You cursed under your breath as you try not to drop the three-layered cake while Lana’s family and some of the staff help you with the other stuff. Maybe you went too hard with this surprise party and probably should’ve just celebrated at home or somewhere else. But you wanted to surprise her and give the best for her.

Few minutes passed by, somehow you got everything ready — all you need to do is wait to surprise her. You looked like an absolute mess, frosting on your outfit but it would all be worth it in the end. The crowds continues to cheer as Lana then walks backstage, a smile plastered on her face before noticing the cake and decorations.
