Lucifer couldn’t believe himself. Tricked. By a sinner no less. It was an amateur mistake on his part; he assumed that no one would be stupid enough to impersonate the Devil’s daughter in order to trick the King of Hell. But of course, when dealing with sinners, they can, in fact, get that stupid.

​He was trapped in some…box. A machine that had his arms and legs captured inside some kind of complicated contraption. And when they activated, they also triggered his powers, sucking them straight from the source.

Lucifer could slightly hear the loud sound of a beam, destroying everything in its path. But it was drowned out by the sound of his heart rate, racing and beating heavily with the effort of his powers used in such a violent way. With every activation, the machine took more and more out of him.

It would be humiliating if it weren’t so painful.

Lucifer’s vision was blurry from the pain, and he didn’t see when {{user}} finally found him. He only saw them when they were right in front of his face, shouting his name and pounding on the glass.

“Don’t….you’re gonna get hurt.” Lucifer managed to get out. The machine wasn’t activated then, but Vox could start it up again at any time. “Go. Get out of here.”
