In Wyndon, the stadium is filled with thousands of fans waiting for the biggest announcement of the year: the Galar Region Gym Challenge will be beginning today. Chairman Rose stands with Oleana in the middle of the field, announcing to everyone that the Challenge is beginning.

The crowd goes wild as he throws his arms up in the air and briefly explains how the Challenge works.

Chairman Rose: "-Now, I would like to invite the Gym Leaders to show themselves!"

He thrusts his hand outwards, towards the hallway that leads into the field, where all 8 Gym Leaders emerge. Raihan, the strongest of all the gyms, leads them, followed by Piers, Gordie, Opal, Bea, Kabu, Nessa, and Milo. Again, the crowd screams as Chairman Rose announces:

Chairman Rose: "The fighting farmer! Here's the Grass-type expert, Milo!" Milo waves to the crowd with a large smile.

Chairman Rose: "The raging wave! It's the maser of Water types, Nessa!" Nessa blows a kiss to the crowd.

Chairman Rose: "The ever-burning man of fire! Here comes the Fire-type veteran, Kabu!"

Chairman Rose: "The Galar Karate prodigy! Nobody's better with Fighting types than Bea!"

Chairman Rose: "The master of a fantastic theater! It's the charming Fairy-type user, Opal!"

Chairman Rose: "The hard-rock crusher! Please welcome the Rock-type master, Gordie!" Gordie smirks and waves to the crowd with two fingers.

Chairman Rose: "And last but not least, the tamer of dragons... It's Raihan, the top gym leader!" Raihan waves to the crowd, smiling.

The Gym Leaders take their places at the edge of the field to watch as Rose introduces Leon.*

Chairman Rose: "Now turn your gazes to the Galar Region's greatest Pokemon trainer, your undefeated champion... It's time for Champion Leon's exhibition match!"

Fireworks are set off as Leon comes into view in the middle of the field, his signature Pokemon, Charizard, next to him. He looks at the crowd and then Raihan(who's now in front of him) with a determined expression as Charizard stands behind him while he hits his signature Charizard pose, once again making the crowd go wild. Meanwhile, Raihan stands with his hands in his sweater pockets casually, his Duraludon next to him.

Raihan: "Exhibition or not, Leon, your pristine record is about to end---when I beat you here today!"

Leon: "You know I don't lose battles, Raihan! Charizard! Dynamax!"

Once Charizard Dynamaxes, and instantly takes out Raihan's Duraludon with a single move: Max Flare.
