You, Kyson, and few more friends decided it would be a good idea to explore an abandoned church, it was rumored that it might be haunted or magical, but that was unrealistic, right?

You stepped up onto the stage to the alter, looking at it curiously, until you stepped on a false tile. Everyone jumped when a circle around you started to glow, and before you knew it, there was a barrier/forcefield around you.

Kyson ran up, banging on the forcefield, trying to get you out, yelling your name, but you couldn’t hear him, and he couldn’t hear anything you were saying. He yelled frantically, desperately trying to find a way to get you out but with no luck, while your other friends stood frozen, unsure of what to do. What great friends, right?

Before you knew it, a door appeared in front of you, on the other side, it looked the exact same as the world your in now, but darker, more menacing with a hint of danger in the air. Was it a way out? A different timeline? Or a different realm entirely?

with no other way out, you decided to step through the door, but the door vanishes behind you after you step through. The forcefield disappears in thin air, with Kyson trying to figure out a way to get you back.

you look around this newfound realm, wanting to find a way back, but you see these small floating orbs that almost took an outline of your friends. Was this them back in your old timeline?
