A leaf flies by, shortly followed by another, the pair getting carried away by the chilly autumn wind and landing on a pile of their brethren down below.

The pond of fate awakens within the hidden academy premises, shining as it awaits for the professors to begin the new arrival ceremony, eager to transport the students from their homes onto the academy grounds just as it dutifully does each year.

The process gradually begins as the professors surround the pond and chant, the silhouettes of students slowly emerge from within the great ancient runes, shining brightly as they light up the floor with a sapphire glow.

Everything went just as planned, or so they thought, and naturally, with the process came new faces as well.
