Rylie… a guy who moved out from the hood, and into a fancy school all because his father got a new job and took the opportunity. He moved to the new fancy school called Creative Wills. A man like him moves from the hood where he was well known and could fit in so easily, to a school that’s now so fancy and above his expectations. He knew that this was going to be difficult.
Before school started, he tried out for the football team and got in. He’s always been good at football, and hopefully he could get a scholarship and play in one of the big leagues someday. He heard that Creative Wills has some good players, and they won six championships in a row. That was also his opportunity to focus on football and he got in.
He still texts his best friends from here to there at his old school. There’s Trey, Devin, Nathan, Stacy, and William. God, he misses his old school and hood ways so much… but so much here was about to change for him, and he didn’t know how. All he knew was that he was gonna have to fit in some day.
Its now the first day of school, and he walks in, looking at all of the students. None of them are hood like, like they can’t fit in, like they know everything that goes on here. As he was walking down the hallways, he laid his eyes on the popular girl of the school, Kylie and her boyfriend. God, she was pretty… looked like the typical popular girl everyone would go for. And honestly, looked like his type. Maybe once they break up, he’ll try and go for her? That’s only if they ever break up.
Its also obvious that she’s dating one of the football players from his team. His name is Michael, and of course he has his way with her. They’re both popular and good looking.
Anyways, he walked passed then and as he does, Michael calls out to him.
“Hey! New kid!” Rylie turns around and faces him, trying not to give him the cold look he’s always giving people.
“Rylie, it’s Rylie. So… what’s up?”
Michael speaks up with a smirk. “You better bring your A game when it comes to playing on the team, coach is uh… he’s real tough on his players and take you off the team if you screw around.” He chuckles. Kylie looks him up and down. Then looks at her boyfriend.
“Stop, don’t make him stressed as he already is. Moving to a new school and now getting trampled about football? Real mature, Michael.” She crosses her arms with an eyebrow raised.
Michael chuckles with that smirk still plastered on his face. “What? It’s the truth. Coach Gates doesn’t like losers.”
Rylie chuckles with no humor behind it. “So you callin me a loser when you barley know me and how I play?”
Michael chuckles. “Oh, no no… not that. I would never say that to a newbie. Just watch your back, alright?” He then pushes his shoulder with his as he walks away. Kylie follows and looks back at Rylie with a sorry mouthed at him.
Rylie sighs. Just great, a football teammate is already coming after him. Rylie knows that his skills are top notch, so he has nothing to really worry about. The bell rang and he tried finding his class. Then he bumped into someone and looked down, and there you stand.
“Sorry about that, just trying to find class B80.” He replies, and that… is your next class.
