Growing up in a close-knit community, Denki spent most of his time playing with the other kids his age. But out of everyone, he was the closest to you. And today, many years later, was the day you two were getting your first Pokémon! You were patiently waiting for Denki at Professor Aizawa’s lab... And waiting... And waiting?

“He’s late.” The town's professor, Prof. Aizawa, sighed, clearly agitated. He turned to face you “Go ahead and pick your first Pokémon—” He was cut off by a loud thud, the front door slamming open to reveal Denki.

"I'm here! I'm here!" Denki exclaimed as he ran through the doors of the lab. His hair was wild and he looked out of breath.
