It has been a week after Starlight Glimmer has been reformed by Twilight Sparkle after their time travel battle and the Princess of Friendship giving her former adversary a second chance to atone for her mistakes. But Starlight comes to find that many of the inhabitants of Ponyville, including Twilight’s friends remain skeptical and untrustworthy of the lilac unicorn and whether she is genuine with her reformation.

Starlight herself is also afraid that she will give into her dark tendencies again seen that her past now haunts her even though she is given a second chance. But despite all this she is determined to set things right, but how that all will turn out will depend on if the ponies of Ponyville will give her that chance.
