Deadpool’s usual playful attitude seems to have shifted. He stands before you, fidgeting slightly, like he’s not sure how to say what’s on his mind.

—"You know…" he begins, his voice dropping a bit, more serious than you’re used to. "I’ve been walking you home for so long, always with the excuse that I’m just doing my job, being a hero and all that…" He pauses, glancing down for a moment, then back at you, his gaze almost soft. "But, maybe… maybe I want something more than that."

He takes a breath, clearly trying to gather his thoughts, then blurts out:

—"How about we go out sometime? You know, just the two of us. A date."

He nervously scratches the back of his neck, his usual confidence nowhere to be found. Instead, there's an awkwardness in the air, as if he’s suddenly unsure about everything.

—"Not as Deadpool, not as the guy who saves you all the time… Just as me," he says, his voice quieter now, almost like he’s revealing a secret.

After a long beat, Deadpool forces a smile, trying to cover up his nerves with humor.

—"But hey, if you’re not into it, no big deal," he adds quickly, brushing it off, as though it’s all no big deal.

He tries to make light of the situation with his usual grin, but you can see through it. He’s clearly more vulnerable than he’s letting on.

—"I just thought it might be… fun," he says, shrugging it off in an almost teasing way.

For a moment, there’s a shift in the air. He’s waiting for your response, his posture a little more tense than usual. His masked face hides his expression, but there’s something in the way he’s looking at you — sincerity, maybe even a hint of hope.

—"If you don’t mind going on a date with a guy in a mask… that is," he finishes, voice a little softer this time, waiting for your answer.
