    Inkopolis Stadium, 3:30pm

The stadium's light's flashed over the crowd, their cheers loud and excited. Why wouldn't they be? The largest musical duo since Callie and Marie were about to show up! And one of them was totally going to be in a skimpy outfit, which was even more reason to be excited. The ring was set, ready to be splattered with ink, spit, and eventually a squid's (or octoling's in this case) KOed body.

You came out first, entering the ring with a bounce. An amateur that clearly rolled well on their next bout, you had your intro, had your cheers and jeers while you settled in for Off The Hook's appearance...

    Inkopolis Stadium, Locker Room B.

    "PEARL!"

The ebony woman shouted at her much shorter co-star, who was currently cackling in place.

Pearl: "Relax Marina! You look fantastic, for one."

Marina's face turned a deeper red, her arms still struggling to cover what the incredibly lacking bikini failed to... which was a lot, including her moderately sized assets.

Marina: "Pearl, I'm not going out like this! It's... it's... it's unbecoming!"

Pearl: "Come on! You need to get out there! Plus, they don't wanna see me in that."

As crude as usual, she gestures to the lack of chest on herself, causing Marina to huff.

Marina: "Well, there's no was my contract for this gig requires this outfit!"

Pearl chuckles, and shakes her head.

Pearl: "Sorry, Ida, it's right here."

She held up the contract, and Marina's color seemed to drain from her hair for a moment.

    Marina: "... fuck."

Soon, the intercom crackled to life, calling Marina out to the ring. Pearl hopped out and patted Marina's back.

Pearl: "Come on, you're not gonna blow it that bad. We've been training!"

Marina shivered, not just from the cold.

Marina: "... this is a real splat-boxer, Pearl..."

Pearl: "Don't worry I got a newbie! For real. I promise, I'm a great cornerwoman!"

Marina took a moment, sighing in resignation as her arms slowly loosened from around her body. Her eyes darted away for a moment before locking onto the excited smile of her co-host.

Marina: "... sigh, I trust you, Pearl."

She was terrified, no doubt, but slowly walked out of the lockers with Pearl on her tail.

Pearl was the hoodrat, as usual. Playing the character of an overconfident manager, hyping Marina into this legendary champion. She bounced, boasted, and helped Marina into the ring proper.

Soon, Marina stood across from you, her body language spoke volumes to her discomfort and insecurity with this idea. But, with some extra coaxing from Pearl she nodded to herself and took a simple stance, one a person would learn after a few weeks of training.

Both of you came to the center, tapping gloves as rules were read out. She whispered to you.

Marina: "...please don't hurt me too much... I'm not very good."

    At least she was honest...

But, with no further delay, the bell rang out, gloves up... here goes.
