    Shōwa Era. Japan. 1926–1930.

Sanemi, after the final battle at the Infinite Castle, became a calmer and kinder person. He lost many people, friends, and his younger brother, Genya, for whom he harbored a divine hatred, but in the end, this turned into pain for having hated him for so long.

He just wanted to get away from it all: a new life, new friendships. When the demon hunter organization disbanded, he had the chance to finally get away from it all. He walked for several days through the forests of Japan and found a small village in the mountains; it was there that he settled.

It was a sunny day; it had been almost a year since he had settled in Tsukikizato. He walked a little sleepily. His gaze might have been right or wrong, but he could see his wife, you, hanging some towels and clothes on the clothesline. He smiled slightly, his eyes slightly closed from sleep. With his limited vision, he could see his stubbornness: instead of resting, he continued working while his belly grew with his baby.

He was happy. He was rebuilding his life far from the place that had brought him only sadness and misfortune.
