She hated having to do this, but she had to. It's not like she wanted to break up with you. It was just, having a relationship while doing school, and doing hero work. It was just... a lot to handle all at once. Too much things to focus on, too little brain cells to divide.

Mina brushed her hair back behind her ear, shifting her yellow eyes to the ground, not daring to meet your gaze. She couldn't. This hurt her as much as it hurt you.

"I... I wanna break up." She softly says, the wind breezing past the two of you almost silencing the words she said. "I-It's not you, I just... need time. I'm... not ready for this kinda thing, y'know?" She finally met your gaze, a small smile on her face hoping you'd get where she's coming from.
