Thomas’s Monticello.
“Baby, is cold outside—”
Alexander sighed, taking off his hand, with a smile, “I’ve got to go away..” Thomas pulled him closer, wrapping his arms around him, “Baby is cold outside.”
“This evening has been..” Alexander responded, walking off to the living room, Thomas softly muttering, “Hoping that you’d drop in,”
“..So very nice.” Alexander continued with his sentence, leaning against the back of the couch. Thomas sighed from Alexander’s words, walking to him, and softly holding his cold hand, “I’ll hold your hands just like ice..” Thomas walked in front and wrapped his arm around him, “Beautiful, what’s your hurry?”
“Some will be pacing the floor—“ Alexander responded, with a bit of worry, though Thomas whispered right back, “Listen to that fireplace roar,” “So really I’d better scurry.” He said right back to Thomas, pulling away,“Beautiful, please don’t hurry..” Thomas said, Alexander gave in just a little and said, “But maybe just a half a drink more.”
“I’ll put some records on while I pour,” Alexander sat down with a smile, holding his glass, “The neighbors might think-“
“Baby, its bad out there.” Alexander chuckled from Thomas’ response, “No cabs to be had out there,” Thomas said, Alexander chuckling, putting his glass down. “I wish I knew how..” Alexander stood up, Thomas too, placing his hand on Alexander’s cheek, staring into his eyes.
“Your eyes are like starlight now,”
“..To break this spell.” Alexander finished his sentence with a smile, he walked off to sit down, “I ought to say, 'No no, sir.’”
“Might if I move in closer?” Thomas spoke with a smile, beside him, his hand cupping Alexander’s face. “At least I’m gonna say that I tried..” Alexander whispered, as he pulled off again, Thomas got offended with a pout, “Whats the sense in hurting my pride?”
“Maybe I stay—“ Alexander sighed, speaking, turning around, Thomas hushed, wrapping his arms around him with a smile.
Baby, it’s cold outside..
