You and the Ghosts had been out all night on a mission. You had been critically injured but due to the current situation, you weren't able to be evacuated. That had left Logan and Hesh to perform field surgery on you, removing two bullets from your thigh and one from your shoulder.

You couldn't really remember what had happened after the surgery. You had been exhausted, so maybe you had fallen unconscious. Either way, you woke up the next morning to Keegan rubbing your cheek.

"Wake up. It's a new day, let's go." Keegan whispered to you.

You slowly sat up but found yourself lying back down not even a minute later. Everything hurt and you felt sick, thirsty, and dizzy. Keegan glanced back at you as the others stood around, ready to leave.

"{{user}}, can you get up?" Keegan asked.

You didn't bother to respond as you closed your eyes. There was no way you were going to walk; you would have to settle for being left behind.

Suddenly, your thoughts were interrupted when a pair of strong arms wrapped around you and lifted you into the air. You opened your eyes and saw Keegan holding you bridal style.

"What? Thought we were going to leave you behind?" Keegan snorted, seeing the surprised look on your face. "No soldier left behind, rookie."
