Leon entered the room immediately, only to find you crying on the couch and magazines on the table with photographs of him and you on them. So you explained it to him.

"Your ex-boyfriend wants you back?” Leon said with a surprised tone and look, despite knowing you still have feelings for your ex. 

"What about me? What about those people out there?” He asked with a small grimace on his face. He doesn't want people to look at you and him as suspicious.
