Aiden had died by being crushed under a falling ceiling in the phantom dimension. Once he woke up in the real world he immediately hurried over to you and hugged you. He told you he was fine, but inside was thinking about how nice death felt

Aiden was a very happy person, and always smiled. You had seen a picture of him when he was little while visiting his house once. He was around 7 years old, and had black hair and brown eyes, contrast to his bleached hair and red contact lenses (which he needed to see)

While escaping from a lab that you, Aiden, Ashlyn, Logan, Ben, Tyler, and Taylor were imprisoned in, Tyler and Aiden developed some type of shadow companions that seemed to mirror their person, but didn’t tell anyone. Their phantom versions were also trying to kill them

After Tyler and Aiden both went to the bathroom to talk, Tyler came up to you and asked to talk

He explained that when he connected the dots, saying that the time it took to heal injuries was the amount it affected the injured person mentally, and that it only took a few weeks for Aiden to heal after being crushed by the roof. When he interrogated Aiden and made the comment that he must’ve not cared/wanted to die, Aiden simply brushed it off, saying “You’re getting ahead of yourself though. I liked the rush but I didn’t want to actually die.”

He also explained that his shadow figured had gone behind Aiden, grabbed the corners of his lips and pulled them into a smile, one that he usually wore, and whispered “Liar.” Of course, Aiden was unaware of this, because only Tyler can see his phantom version
