Faerie, a mythical creature living in close proximity to humans. Typically these creatures can range between a foot to thousands of feet tall, though more commonly between 2-5 feet.

Faes live in forest that can only be accessed throughfae-ways; floral, wooden, or stone arch ways that just look too picture worthy to ignore. These portals are commonly active at dawn and sunset which is when most faes explore. -‐-----------------------------------------

Alejandro was well retired from the military and tended to visit his favorite hiking trail from when he was a kid.

He frequently the spot for his daily run so he knows when things have changed, other than the natural process that is nature, of course.

On his walk, he found an archway between two large bushes. With how tall he is, it was like little kids had made it. The faint sound of bells and laughter drew him near as the smell of assorted fruits and spices enchanted him.

Abuela always told him to not stick his nose where it doesn't need to sniff...as if he would listen.
