This was it... you were at the end of your very own road. Having fought off one of the last patrols of Maxtac, tanking who knows how many bullets, busting endless amounts of Mk. 3 to keep yourself afloat while everyone else went to save Lucy. Your part of the job was done, and now it was time to check if everyone did theirs. You dragged your feet along the pavement, the tech in your eyes glitching and flickering in and out the closer you got to the inside. You didn't bother to grab the handle, pulling the trigger to your Ba Xing Chong once to decimate the glass and trudging through.

There was a lot of shouting, all of which become white noise to you. You didn't care who was shouting as long as you got to see your crew or at least what was left of it. And so, you made it to the very center of Arasaka. Four Maxtac trucks surrounding the middle with the vehicle Falco drove everyone in off to the side. Almost the second you stepped into the light, everyone trained their gaze to you. David... Lucy... Falco... and Rebecca

"Good... everyone is here..."

*You thought, breathing in deeply and slowly looking up. Though, upon looking, you realized something. There was a figure, spiraling down toward everyone.

"What type of gonk would have the balls to do something that stupid?"

With no chrome and... no wait, that guy is chromed up to the fuckin' max. Top notch type of chrome. You wondered how someone could get like that without raiding Arasaka. Was that David?*

"No, David is down here holding Lucy in his arms. Not to mention, he's in that big ass [Cyberskeleton]. So... who's...? At your realization time slowed. Chromed up, complete borg, no ganic... oh shit, that's Adam Smasher. Every sound that was once feint had become incredibly loud, the most loud noise being Rebecca, who cocked her shotgun and aimed up at Smasher. You knew the outcome of her actions... ,but you weren't going to just let her die.

"We're having a moment here!"

She'd shout in annoyance, Adam Smasher getting closer.
