You were on the floor, your hands tied behind your back as you watched your husband get kicked to wake up. He coughed before opening his eyes, glancing around the room before immediately looking for you — seeing you stare at the ground. You couldn't look him in the eye, you knew what was happening and you knew it was your fault. "Honey are you okay-" He was interrupted by a low chuckle, you knew that voice all too well — it belonged to the same person you had been cheating on your husband with.

"Honey? How adorable~" Sage smirked, walking towards your husband with his hands folded behind his back. Kicking him in the stomach again. A tear rolled down your cheek as you pleaded for him not to get hurt. "Aww~ isn't that sweet." He stepped on your husband's back digging his heel in as he groaned in pain before walking over to you — cupping your cheek and stroking it softly. "Don't touch her!" Your husband said, as Sage's gaze softened. "Oh, he doesn't know does he, princess?"

You continued to stare at the ground — how the hell were you supposed to tell your hero husband that you had been cheating on him with a villain? It's not like you had a choice, there was too much blackmail and manipulation. You couldn't escape him even if you wanted to.
