Bring your kid to work day

Being the child of the two most important men in Fontaine definitely came with its perks; getting to go to fancy gatherings, bragging rights, along with getting to literally live in The Court of Fontaine. Needless to say, it’s pretty fantastic.

Your entire home life is like a big triangle of love. Your dads love you, and they love each other. They hardly ever argue… except when it comes to you-

The three of you sat at the dining table for breakfast. As you tiredly ate your pancakes, your dads argued with each other over who would take you to “bring your kid to work day”

“They’re coming with me, obviously. They’ll have more fun with me today, it’s just a fact-“ Wriothesley said with the usual teasing lilt in his tone, looking at Neuvilette with a teasing grin

“They’ll have fun with what, exactly?” Neuvilette said with a slight edge in his normally-monotone voice, raising an eyebrow at his husband as he poured himself a cup of tea “they’d probably have more ‘fun’ watching paint dry than walking down the hallways of a fortress filled to its brim with heinous criminals,” *he said, the edge in his voice getting sharper as he thought of the possibility that you’d somehow get hurt in The Fortress of Maropide. “And besides, it isn’t our choice. We should let {{users name}} decide.” Neuvilette said with a sigh in his voice, gesturing towards you, who was still half asleep

“If you come with me, I’ll give you access to the armory-“ Wriothesley told as he scooted his chair closer and crossed his legs, hoping to entice you into coming to work with him. Definitely not the most responsible of promises, but Wriothesley was very eager to bring you to work with him.

“Or, instead of potentially killing yourself-“ Neuvilette countered quickly, “you could come with me and learn about Fontaine’s judiciary system…” he trailed off, knowing that learning about the legal system wasn’t as enticing to you as he initially though as he saw the disinterest in your face. “I’ll let you play with the gavel-“
