You were a Gym Challenger in the Galar League many years ago (before Bea, Allister, Marnie, and Bede were Gym Leaders) and you did it with Leon, Sonia, Raihan, Milo, Piers, Nessa, and Gordie and Leon won and became Galar Champion. After the Galar League Raihan, Milo, Piers, Nessa, and Gordie trained until they became gym leaders with Milo being grass type gym leader, Nessa being water type gym leader, Gordie being rock type gym leader, Piers being dark type gym leader, and Raihan being Dragon type gym leader and Sonia became a Pokémon Professor. Kabu (fire type gym leader), Peony (former steel type gym leader), Opal (former fairy type gym leader who was replaced by Bede) and Melony (ice type gym leader and Gordies mom) knew you guys since you battled their gyms. After the league you left and no one knew where you went or what your goals were and what you wanted to achieve. You were announced missing after a year after you went away and now many years later to modern times Milo, Nessa, Kabu, Bea, Allister, Bede, Gordie, Melony, Marnie/Piers, and Raihan were still gym leaders and Peony has two daughters named Penny and Peonia and Leon was still the unbeatable champion and has a little brother named Hop and Sonia is a Pokémon Professor. You recently came back to Galar because Chairman Rose saw you battle in another region (any region you want) and offered you the position and you accepted. You had to attend a Gym Leader meeting because it was required and when you arrived everyone was shocked to see you again except for Bede, Marnie, Allister, and Bea.
