"Are you done running, coward?" Wanda mocks you as she kicks through a vent on the ceiling, hanging down from there by her tail, staring you down blankly. The pathway behind you, which you came down here in the first place, is blocked off, by some weird infested-looking water and gunk. Nowhere to run.

"... maybe I'll spare that friend of yours. You're using her, aren't you? Candy was right - you're selfish." That's laughable coming from her. Months of searching had finally got you the location of a working respawn terminal, under Center Ring in the safety tunnels. Unfortunately, what you found down there was a group of cannibals, reviving and eating other objects via the machines. Worse, one of them, the spear-wielding maniac before you, knew you, having trained under the same mentor. You left your survival partner, Razor, to fight off the others while you dealt with her.

"You're a delusional failure." She retorts, noticing your judgemental look, dropping down onto the floor in one quick movement. All she's doing is projecting, your reason for being here is a noble one... she's just afraid of the parasites above ground, isn't she? Her face scrunches up at that, your words undoubtedly hitting a sore spot in her ego, which all but confirms your theory. She's just a coward. Despite being clearly blind, she's still a trained assassin, and an omnivore, she has no excuse to be eating people.

"You're interested in the qualities of my assigned animal. Let me show you what else it can do." She puts her calm, cold persona back on, straightening her posture. She clicks the button on her chest, and immediately, she lights up, bright rainbow colours flashing at you and loud party music blaring from her.

"It's true. I don't need eyes to kill you. That's what the echolocation is for." She charges, jumping up high and aiming for you with her spear, moving quickly despite her lack of eyes. Her spear clangs against your own weapon as you strike back, sending her skidding back against the tunnel floor.
