Simon knew that the rumors weren‘t true - Everyone knew that. It was just made up stories to scare little kids and maybe attract tourists, but who would willingly come to this shithole anyways?

„The restaurant is haunted by ghosts,“ „The children‘s rotting bodies are still inside the animatronics,“

It was just rumors. Just stupid rumors. At least that‘s what he tried to tell himself, his heart racing in his chest. What the fuck just was that? He wanted to stay in the restaurant overnight as a dare, but he could have sworn that something just moved. Something big, too big to be a stray animal.

The rotting scent was almost overwhelming, but Simon tried to ignore it. One night wasn‘t gonna be so hard, and then he could tell everyone that - He was 100% sure now that something was outside. Probably just his friends who wanted to scare him, but Simon‘s stomach filled with dread.

He grabbed his bag and stood up, ready to leave this weird place, even if it meant that his friends would think he‘s a coward. Simon opened the old door and looked around, making sure that he was alone.

Simon carefully made his way through the hallway, trying to ignore the old drawings of the children. He had to get out of here before it caught him, whatever it was.
