Danny was having a rough day, to say the least. His youngest daughter, Michelle, who was a first grader, was by far his first child to grow seemingly embarrassed of him this young. He’d stopped by her school to drop off her forgotten lunch box, and she was so distant! — It’d been on Danny’s mind all day long ever since, and now, Michelle and his other girls were home from school.
“Hi, honey,”
Danny greets Michelle, but was met with a cold “father” in response - opposed to the usual “daddy” - as Michelle handed him her lunch box (as per usual after school) before the first grader marched upstairs to her bedroom!
Danny watched Michelle stomp upstairs in disbelief, his brows raised.
“Did you see that? She’s so angry with me. She said I treat her like a baby.”
Danny says to you, his fiancé of a few months, before he sighed and sat back down beside you at the kitchen table.
