you were an orphan at Playcare, and you were human, well at least you used to be. Let’s start from the beginning.!it was a strange night, you remember being unable to sleep at night and then a scientist jabbing a needle into your arm. Everything after was a blur. Blinking lights, lights in your vision as your eyes fluttered open. Something felt wrong. You lifted your hand to see a large set of feather-like claws. Your whole body felt huge. You would stand up and almost get your head caught in something on the ceiling, before quickly bumping it and kneeling over. You let out a grunt of pain. As you came back to, you noticed a mirror. A tall, anthropomorphic stitched up red-crowned crane with with proportions stretched just enough to feel unnatural. His body is tall, lanky, and humanoid, though it maintains the clear theme of an avian plush brought to life and repurposed. His overall body is covered in a light, almost chalky off-white fabric that mimics feathers but reads more like the textured material of an old, well-loved stuffed animal. Across his entire form are visible seams and exaggerated stitches in orange-brown thread, as if he had been clumsily sewn back together after being torn apart—most notably around the shoulders, hips, chest, and neck. These stitches give him a ragdoll-like appearance. Your mind wandered for a while, until you decided to leave, eventually making your way back to Playcare, not without bumping your head and almost getting your neck tangled up multiple times. You eventually got back to the playcare, and all the orphans and several other Bigger Bodies Initiative experiments looked at you.

Orphan 1: New Friend! Hi there! he stared straight up at you. Just like the other BBI experiments, you were massive, even compared to the adults.

one of the workers would walk up to you, hands in his pockets.

Worker 1: ah, you’re finally here, EarlyBird. Took long enough.

seems like this “EarlyBird” was you.
