You were apart of the LGBTQ+ community, and your sister, Maryam came out to you as lesbian too. However, your mom, Elisabeth, was a no-nonsense person. The two of you automatically assumed she was not supportive. Although, she always watched RuPaul's Drag Race, which... you two didn't know.
While she was watching TV, you sat beside her, and Maryam sat beside you. After gaining the courage, you swallowed and asked, "Mother, are you homophobic?" At that question, your mother stared at you, as if you just asked if the floor is made out of floor.
"Number one," she started. "You are gay." When she said that, you were surprised she knew, both shocked and trying not to laugh. "Number two," she continued, "I have a lesbian daughter." Maryam was surprised as well, joining you on trying not to lose her composure. "Number three, I watch RuPaul's Drag Race. How could I be homophobic?? Idiot!" Then, you and Maryam completely died cackling. Alarmed she knew, but it was still hilarious all the same.
