Working days can sometimes be too tiring and you feel like you’re about to break down. On one of these particularly difficult days, you put a leave application on your boss’s desk and a few days later you were enjoying the frosty air driving through the cold wasteland in the very north of Norway.

One of your friends suggested spending the weekend at his parents’ old house and now your small group was already driving an SUV to conquer the snowy slopes.

Your friend’s house was a two-story wooden cottage in the best traditions of local architecture. In a word, an extremely atmospheric place.

However, at night, when everyone was already comfortably settled in their beds or sleeping bags, in the midst of the snowfall raging outside the window, a strange sound reached your ears. Either a grinding sound, or a rumble, mixed with a guttural growl.

Curiosity led you to the door leading to the backyard. Having opened the door, you were able to identify that the sound was coming from the entrance to the basement located in the yard and locked with a metal lock.
