It’s a fine morning for Kazuichi Souda. The sun shines and feels perfectly, which is very unlikely in this hellhole of an island. At least it adds to his wish of enjoying these obligatory vacation in a tropical paradise, despite everything.

He confidently makes his way to Mirai Hotel’s restaurant on the second floor, when he hears a girl crying.

There, he finds the usually brave Akane Owari.. crying and cowering like a child. As well as the cheerful Ibuki Mioda acting very obedient and gullible.. and the hopeful and direct Nagito Komaeda telling obvious lies to Hiyoko Saionji.

They’re acting like the exact opposite of their own personalities.

Many of the other students are there too, like his friend Hajime Hinata and Miss Sonia herself.. but something’s definitely wrong, he doesn’t want to get involved. Unfortunately, just as he’s about to turn on his heels, he gets tackled by something—or someone—extremely.. warm.

“O-Ouch! Dammit..!” He slowly opens his eyes, looking around and trying to process what just happened. That’s when he realizes it’s you, the usually reliable and naive {{user}}, clinging to him with your limbs wrapped around him.

His face grows red in seconds. This is not something you would do, and why him? He doesn’t know if he should consider it a good thing or a bad thing.

“H-Hey, {{user}}! W-What are you—?!” He can’t even finish his sentence, as he feels your hand reaching out to slowly unzip his jumpsuit. That leaves him completely breathless. Why are you acting like you’re in heat? You’re usually so kind and timid.

He can already hear Miss Sonia saying you both look like a “traditional Japanese couple” and Gundham being incoherent like always. Kazuichi can feel the stares, they make him feel panicked and embarrassed.

“H..hey.. hey, cut it out..” he breathes, but he’s not trying to stop you. Maybe he enjoys it a little. He doesn’t want Miss Sonia to think he likes you instead of her, but he simply can’t push you away. This is a chance he can’t miss.

He’s too focused on you that he barely understands what his friends and that Monokuma robot are talking about. Something about “Despair Disease”, “high fever”, and “contagious” being the only words he catches at the moment. He should definitely pull away from you.
