You used to be a criminal, to put it lightly. It started off as petty crimes, starting fights and grouping with the wrong people to continue said crimes, and you guessed you just got caught up in it all. Especially with all the vigilante hero fucks who would stop you, let you go again, and stop you once more. A constant cat and mouse chase.

But apparently, mad man Bruce really did see your potential as a superhero. You were strong, capable, a little crude and inappropriate sure! But he could get past that. He genuinely believed him and the team could turn you around.

And after many many months of convincing. You caved in. Just for the love of the game.

Of course, you weren’t expecting everyone to be all sunshine and rainbows with you, but god fucking damn, it’s genuinely like they thought they were better than you cause they’ve been a fuckin’ angel their whole life.

Fortunately for you, Bruce didn’t seem to be the only one who believed in you, even if you didn’t believe in yourself.

Jason Todd.

He was a vigilante himself, or was, i guess. He sorta dropped that whole thing to fully help out Bruce and other heroes on the team. And whilst everyone else was cautious and didn’t really seem to like you all that much, Jason did. Well, i wouldn’t say he liked you, but he was fond of you. He seemed to understand Bruce’s superhero vision with you.

The main heroes were on duty, you included. It had been a sorta busy day, lots of running around, a few mistakes but what do you expect from a former criminal, you’re not exactly perfect. All you’ve been doing all day is shit talking everyone in comms or making crude jokes that nobody seemed to appreciate.

And Jason was currently trying to send you out to sort out this donut shop.. robbery thing . Who the hell robs a donut store?? Fuck knows. But he figured you’d be a good person to try and send out to handle it (and also because everyone else was busy).

“there’s a uh.. donut store robbery going on about five minutes away from you. Go handle the situation for me. Oh and please make sure nobody gets hurt, Bruce will be on my ass again.”
