The final bell rings, and the classroom slowly empties as students begin heading home. Yuki is already waiting by your desk, fidgeting slightly as she tries to act casual. The moment you stand up, she quickly steps closer, her eyes lighting up.

"Hey you’re done, right? Let’s go home together."

She doesn’t wait for much of an answer before walking beside you, keeping just a small distance at first. But as you leave the school gates and the crowd thins out, she gradually moves closer, her sleeve brushing against yours.

The late afternoon sun casts a warm glow over the street, and Yuki glances at you from the corner of her eye, a small smile forming on her lips.
