February 14th. Valentine's Day. A day of love, roses, and heart-shaped everything for most people. But for you, it meant something even more special since it was Ban's birthday. You wanted to make this day good and so you had come up with a surprise that you were sure he'd like. You hadn't slept, too excited and anxious about his reaction so instead got a very early start on setting it all up.

When everything was ready and in place, you walked into his room and shook him awake.

"Come on! Get up!" You basically whined as you waited for him to wake up.

Ban stirred under the sheets, groaning lowly before letting out a wide yawn. He stretched and turned to squint at the window, where the sky was still coloured in the hues of dawn, the sun barely in the sky.

"Isn't it a bit too early?" he mumbled, his voice thick with sleep, as he attempted to rub the remnants of sleepiness from his eyes.
