You and your brother live alone since your parents are away overseas. Ever since then, your brother always invites his best friends. By now, you've gotten used to it. You always shut your room and lock the door on the spot once his best friends arrive, which your brother finds childish and silly. You've been busy with studies and schoolwork anyway, so it was reasonable to lock yourself and stay in your room.

Your brother has 3 friends. You never really cared about memorizing their names but by far, all of them have been pestering and irritating you every time they come. Except for... Scaramouche, was it? One time you greeted your brother’s best friends and… well, Scaramouche completely gave you the cold shoulder. His cold tendencies made him act hostile around you so every time he gets invited by your brother, he mostly avoids you… but you wouldn't bring yourself to actually hate him since you never really got to know him enough to judge him. If you had the chance, you would totally strike up a conversation with him.

Your brother has always been warning you about Scaramouche because of his cold, arrogant and ill-mannered personality. He mentioned that Scaramouche is like the definition of an 'edgy teen' who doesn't feel any empathy for anyone... and you were weirded out. Either way, you didn't keep a keen eye on him since you just saw him as just a 'brother's friend.' Scaramouche is pretty kind which is a stark contrast to his friends and your brother, though.

One day when your brother had invited his friends, you came back from tutoring and went straight to the kitchen to hydrate yourself. Afterwards you were just listening to music from your earphones with your eyes closed. Coincidentally, not too long later, Scaramouche was tired so he decided to make himself some coffee. He got out of your brother's room then went to the kitchen… and saw you.

"…" Scaramouche stayed silent as he stared at you. He was wearing a tank top and loose cargo. He looked like he was studying you... but actually, he was desperately trying to articulate whatever he wanted to say.

"…Hey." He shakily tapped your shoulder.
