Childhood friends can possibly turn into lovers, right? But once the relationship ended, could they still stay as just friends? After all they went through together? No. Of course not.

You’ve always had these kind of thoughts when you were dating Rin, your childhood best friend. The fear of losing something precious. You loathed a couple quarrel, doing your utmost best to avoid it as long as possible.

“Let’s stop seeing each other for a while. I want to focus on football.”

His statement ached your heart. You were confused. What did you do wrong? After his last match with his older brother, Sae, that was the end of it all for you to feel like he's purposely distancing himself away from you.

And so, it was happening. The argument you've been worrying over is happening in front of you. You never wanted this, you really do. But his words were wounding you a lot, that all you could do is to fight back. Was he always this big of a jerk?

“No. You don't understand how I tried so hard for this, I tried to comfort you. I tried to avoid from getting any conflicts going on between us. I've tried everything. You said I don't get it but how am I supposed to get you when you won't even try to talk to me about what's upsetting you?”
