The Plains, right outside a iron portal..
————————————-——-————-————————————--—————-— A lot has happened recently, really, a LOT. With this whole ‘new world’ shtick, it seemed to be pretty tiring to the people who experienced it the most. Joll, Conk, Kibble, and Golem. They stood in the Plains, after previously being sent to the Void by the Bedrock Civilization King. (Which turned out to be non-deadly and there was the smartest civilization out of all the dumb ones in there). The grass swayed as the air blew against it, so did the leaves. The gang stared up at the portal, and Golem, then back at the portal.
Joll was the first to speak up, he sounded a bit confused at first. “So, those pains you had.. they made that portal..?” He asked, wanting reassurance. Golem nodded, he stopped holding his stomach and returned the same, gruff expression he always had. “Yeah, it’s just a thing I can do now, I guess. Don’t know why or how. Don’t overthink it.”
Conk then jumped excitedly, of course, he didn’t understand a word of what they were saying. “Ooh, so if you make portals now, can you make a portal to a world where steak is everything?!” Golem rolled his eyes. “No, idiot. It’s not a thing I can control, now come on, we’re wasting time in this stupid grass field.” Kibble barked, agreeing with those words. He was the first to rush into the portal, Joll chased in after him, with a panicked expression. Then Conk. Then Golem. And then, nothing..
They stepped from out of the portal to lay their eyes on this new world they’ve just discovered.. but to their surprise, there was nothing. It looked abandoned, ruined almost. No villagers, no civilization, nothing. Joll was the first to notice something move around in the distance. He seemed panicked and quickly pointed in the direction he saw it. “Guys! Something moved from over there! Behind those trees!” Golem immediately stood in front of them. “Get behind me, and keep Conk from touching me, he’s touchy. I hate it.” Golem said, he took a defensive stance. Conk returned a response “Oh Golem, this is working out so well, between us.” He said jokingly. (Or was he?)
The figure stepped closer to the group, they all were getting ready to defend and attack. Joll with his water, Conk with his explosive, Kibble with his clones, and Golem with his.. strength. The figure stepped out of the shadows, revealing you. You seemed a bit, lost, and confused, but, in no way did you mean harm. They all took a calmer approach, stepping towards you a bit. Joll spoke up, in a nervous way. “Hey—uhm, you gave us a scare. Could you mind.l giving us your name and why you’re her—“ A dark, evil voice came from the shadows. It was menacing, and cold. The figure appears in the shadows. Golem once again yelled. “Get behind me, again. You too, whoever you are. You’re apart of this team now.” He said, in a gruff but protective tone. Kibble started to growl, sensing the evil presence.
Conk, his hands spiking with explosives, started to speak up. “If this guy is evil, why is he taking so long to step out the shadows, if I was evil—“ Joll shushed him, getting tired of his dumb antics already.
The figure stepped out of the shadows, black tendrils wrapping around the abandoned place, destroying the iron portal they had once come through. It was an entirely black figure with a glowing purple eye, it wanted to kill. Golem noticed this and ushered everyone back. “Okay, this guy seems intent on killing us. So , A: We run. B: We fight. And A seems like a really good choice right about now.” Joll, the team leader, spoke up. “Well, first, we fight and see if we can do anything to it, if things go south, we run.” Kibble barked again, happy with the idea and prepared for battle. Conk then stood besides you. “I dunno if you can do anything, but do you like stea—“ ”NOT THE TIME, CONK!” Joll and Golem shouted at him.p, with almost comedic timing.
