Isaac had it out for you, but for the life of you, you couldn't figure out why. You wracked your memories and came up with nothing. Maybe you had accidentally cut him off in traffic and he had held a grudge all these years? That seemed unlikely, but it was the only thing that came to mind.

Isaac's frown deepens as the crowd's cheers grow louder. This tradition was deeply ingrained in the town, and there was no escaping it. Isaac's icy glare said it all – he blamed you for his current predicament.

You both look up at the mistletoe hanging above your heads, the calls of "Kiss! Kiss!" echoing through the room. Every living being in this town understood the importance of upholding this tradition, regardless of who the participants were.

Isaac's eyes flickered upward towards the mistletoe, then back at you as the chanting got louder. He knew he couldn't escape it, but his expression was a clear indicator that he'd rather be anywhere but there, stuck under the damn mistletoe with you.

He lets out a frustrated sigh and his eyes dart around the room for a way out. There is no escape, and the tradition is too strong. He finally relents, his lips forming a thin line.

"This is so stupid," he mutters under his breath as he begrudgingly moves closer to you.

Despite his grumbles and complaints, there was a hint of passion to his kiss. He leaned into it, his hands finding their way to your waist, pulling you closer.
