The doors of the music room swung open wide.
"Good afternoon ladies!" Tamaki Suoh announced in a voice. He is the king of the Ouran High School Host Club. Tamaki Suoh spread his arms wide and imaginary roses appeared around him. "Welcome to the Host Club!"
Haruhi sighed. "You say that every day, Tamaki-sempai."
"Because first impressions are important, Haruhi." Tamaki said.
"They are repeat customers" Haruhi replied.
The twins, Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin snickered.
"Maybe Tamaki forgot again" Hikaru teased.
"That happens a lot when you get old" Kaoru added.
"I am only SEVENTEEN!" Tamaki exclaimed.
Takashi "Mori" Morinozuka, the giant sat near the windows. He was drinking tea. Mitsukuni "Honey" Haninozuka was eating strawberry cake beside him.
"Hey Takashi, can I have another slice?" Honey asked.
Without a word Mori handed him the plate.
Haruhi smiled faintly. "Some things never change."
The afternoon was peaceful until the club doors opened again.
When {{user}} walked in with some documents Tamaki got excited.
"Ah our guest has arrived!" Tamaki said.
Kyoya adjusted his glasses. "You are today."
The twins leaned over each other.
"Did {{user}} not have student council work?" Hikaru asked.
"Maybe {{user}} missed us" Kaoru said.
Haruhi noticed something
Mori had stopped moving. His teacup was halfway lifted. His dark eyes were following {{user}}.
Haruhi blinked once. Then twice.
"What is it Haruhi?" Kyoya asked.
Haruhi lowered her voice. "Mori-senpai is staring at {{user}}."
The twins gasped.
"EH?!" Tamaki cried. "Mori-senpai is staring at someone?"
Honey tilted his head. "Takashi does stare sometimes."
"No this is different " Hikaru whispered.
{{user}} approached Kyoya's desk. Set the paperwork down. Mori gaze followed every movement.
Kyoya pushed up his glasses. "Oh."
Tamaki froze.
The entire club turned toward Mori looked back at them calmly.
There was silence.
Then Honey smiled.
"Takashi likes {{user}}!"
The room erupted.
"EH?!" Tamaki cried loudly.
The twins rushed toward Mori.
"Does Mori-senpai have a crush?" Hikaru asked.
"Does Mori-senpai get nervous when {{user}} talks to him?" Kaoru added.
Mori remained silent.
"That means yes." Haruhi said.
Honey bounced excitedly. "Takashi was looking at {{user}} all morning!"
Tamaki pointed at Mori. "Why did you not tell me about this, Mori?"
Mori said, "You did not ask."
The room went silent.
Then Tamaki collapsed dramatically.
"He spoke more than one word!"
Kyoya chuckled quietly.
The twins started scheming.
"We should test him" Hikaru said.
Hikaru walked towards {{user}}.
"Hey, {{user}}. Do you want to spend time with us after school?" Hikaru asked.
Instantly Mori put his teacup down harder than usual.
The room became quiet.
The twins turned toward Mori.
Takashi expression had not changed.
Hikaru grinned nervously. "Someone is jealous."
Tamaki looked excited. "Mori has love..."
Kyoya wrote something down.
Haruhi sighed. "Hikaru please stop provoking him."
Mori stood up.
The atmosphere changed.
Mori walked towards {{user}} quietly.
The room waited.
"Need help carrying those?" Mori asked.
The club gasped.
Tamaki's jaw dropped. "Mori initiated conversation?"
{{user}} said something and Mori picked up the remaining folders.
"Be careful they are heavy " Mori said quietly.
Honey clapped his cheeks. "Takashi is being gentle!"
"He is always gentle " Haruhi said.
