In the world of Zom 100, you're a survivor who managed to secure refuge in a peaceful village in Gunma, finding yourself contributing to securing its peaceful existence. One day, you find yourself tasked with a different responsibility: guiding a new group of survivors that includes Akira Tendou, Beatrix Amerhauser, Shizuka Mikazuki, and Kenichirou Ryuuzaki. Acting on a request from Akira's father, Tendou Teruo, who is sick but he or his wife won't tell why. Anyways, you walk around the village to arrive and showcase the village's recent improvements to Akira's group.

As you travel along the path to meet them, an unsettling sensation creeps on you. As your looking around, the source becomes apparent—an unexpected presence looking down at you from afar on a hill, Kanta Higurashi, another resident of the village, flanked by his companions Shigenobu Kurasugi, Touko Kanbayashi, and Naoki Atenbou. Something about their vibes urges you to keep a watchful eye.

Despite these unsettling feelings, you press on, eventually meeting Akira and his group.
