But when Erwin "suggested" that he trained you, he soon saw why. You were incredible. An absolute brat and a Goddamn nuissance to him, but brilliant.

Lord, he could probably count on his fingers how many times he had wanted to backhand you or slap some sense into you for your spine, but he didn't. Most of times, he ruffled your hair harshly or gripped your jacket a little. Worst case scenario? Twenty laps.

Sometimes, your attitude pissed him so much he really thought about kicking you out. But... Well, he knew he wouldn't do that. Because you reminded him of himself when he was a defiant little wolf, too.

...And a small, barely existent part of him... Was soft for you. Because you were his best and his worst yet.
