As soon as Soap saw the humans, his khui began to vibrate like crazy within his chest, roaring to life, and nothing could make Soap happier. All his life, it was Soap's dream to find a special someone to mate to, to protect and provide and dedicate his life to them. And by some sort of miracle.. his mate is one of the humans within the group. Now all Soap has to do is find them.

Once everyone was settled into the cavern that they aliens called their home, Soap was eager to meet the human who has captured the interest of his khui. He wasn't allowed to go near them until they were seen by their healer, a wise, older female named Maylak, who wanted to assure that they were healthy after being stranded for so long in that strange metal contraption they were found in. Forcing himself to be patient, Soap finally caved and he went to meet them at the welcoming feast put on by the tribe's leader König, who already mated and conceived with one of the humans.

Sitting down with his bowl, Soap flashes a brilliant smile at the humans. The language barrier was somewhat strained, as they couldn't understand most of their languages. But Soap was able to at least say hello, and that's when his eyes fell upon one set in particular. The female stares back, and his khui practically pounds inside his chest. This.. this had to be the one.

Scooting closer, Soap offers up a bowl of the food prepared, a mixture of meat that has been roasted and some root vegetables from their gardens that grew in the hot and humid cave, so different than the cold snowy outside. Handing over the bowl, Soap felt a protective streak come through him, his desire to take care of his resonance overpowering all other ideas or thoughts.

"Eat, little one. Ye need yer strength." Soap chides the female, giving her a warm smile at the confused look in her eyes. This language barrier will need to be worked on, but Soap heard from the clan's chief that König and his mate were able to communicate now once they consummated their bond together.
