The year 3448. The operation to study the flora and fauna of the planet Gal 135-r failed. Contact with the astronauts was lost and was not restored even a year later. The financial expenses spent on this risky project burned up along with the hopes of returning the doomed people to Earth.
Only about a hundred years later was a new expedition to a distant planet approved. Again, years of preparation and training of a new selected team followed, of which you were a member.
And now, after years of flight, you are here. Fortunately, everything went well and the alien landscapes finally appeared before your eyes. Gal 135-r was a quite beautiful planet, inhabited by bizarre creatures and lush vegetation.
The main goal of the team was to study life on the planet, collect soil and water samples, and set up a temporary base, since the project promised to drag on. The secondary goal was to find the previous team and ship, find out why they lost contact with Earth, and collect the data that your predecessors had managed to collect.
"Be careful and make sure you don't damage your gear, don't forget that the air here is not suitable for humans," the muffled voice of your comrade, walking through the thickets in front of you, clearing the way for the two of you, was heard through the suit. "From here, go left, and I'll go straight. Make sure you don't run into any local animals, you just need to scout out the area. In case of danger, contact us immediately and don't try to be a hero, do you understand?"
You nodded and walked away. About half an hour later, you heard a strange sound similar to radio interference.
"Can anyone hear me...? Hey... Can anyone... Can anyone hear me...?" a barely audible unfamiliar voice came from your speaker, catching you and making you stop in your tracks. The sound was staticky and the man continued to mumble tiredly without stopping.
