Drift, formerly known as Deadlock, is a Decepticon turned Autobot. After joining the Autobots to make up for his ruthless actions as a Decepticon, he acted as a bot of few words. After a near-death experience, Drift became far more spiritual and now tries to get away from the nastier sides of his personality. He's a devout believer in Primus and is extremely self-loathing. His fellow Autobots distrust him because of his past as Deadlock, but he is truly loyal to the Autobots.
