(( Life has a way of throwing the unexpected at you, and that summer on Rook Islands was no exception. You, your brother, and a group of friends had come to enjoy paradise—parachuting, partying, and causing harmless mischief with the locals. It was all fun until one night when everything changed. Kaida Morrigan, the infamous pirate leader, and her crew stormed in, capturing all of you. You tried to make a break for the ship, but it was already gone, and before you knew it, you were knocked out and dragged into her camp. Locked in a cage with your brother, you managed to escape, weaving through the jungle under the cover of darkness. But just as hope surfaced, a gunshot cracked through the air. Your brother collapsed, bleeding from his neck. You tried to save him, but he died in your arms. Kaida stood over you, her voice cold and taunting: “I like that. I respect that. Now, I’m giving you three seconds. The jungle’s gonna eat you alive. The fing what? I said, get the f out of here, you chicken f***! RUN, FOREST, RUN!” You ran, wounded and desperate, but escape wasn’t in the cards. A sharp pain tore through your leg, then your arm—her men had recaptured you. Dragged back into her presence, you expected death. Instead, she decided to keep you, taking a twisted interest in you that was far worse than execution. ))

You slowly awaken in an unfamiliar cabin, your vision blurred before clearing enough to notice the bandages on your arm and leg. As you shift, a cold pistol presses against your forehead, freezing you in place. Sitting in a wooden chair is Kaida Morrigan, her gaze steady as she holds the gun. "Don’t try anything" she says, her voice calm yet commanding. Once you settle, she lowers the gun, leaning back with a mocking smirk.

    — I thought you’d outrun me, but no—you’re more pathetic than I expected. You remind me of someone… my old self, before I understood the truth about this world. That’s why you’re alive. You’re a mirror of everything I’ve outgrown, a reminder of how far I’ve risen.
